AcreToPlate is a hyper-local marketplace in active development.
Right now everyone—growers and buyers—joins the wait-list while we finish core features and launch region-by-region.
Why We're Building It
Globally, an estimated 30–40 % of food is lost or wasted each year. 1
Yet small farmers and backyard gardeners frequently have surplus produce that neighbors would love to buy—if they could find each other easily.
Our goal is to make that connection friction-free:
- Simple listings for growers
- One-tap reservations for buyers
- Cash pickup (cards later)
- Zero monthly fees
Where We Are Now
- Wait-list only: both growers and buyers can add their ZIP/email.
- Private alpha: we're dog-food testing core flows (listing ➜ reservation ➜ pickup code).
- Feature road-map: card payments, in-app chat, pop-up market toolkit.
When enough people in a region are on the wait-list, we'll invite that ZIP code to the beta.
